Our small group personal training (SGPT) sessions is where fitness meets community and personalized coaching. Our academy is designed to bring together like-minded individuals who share common fitness goals, creating an atmosphere of motivation and support. Led by our certified trainers, these intimate group sessions offer the perfect balance between individualized attention and the energy of a group dynamic.

“Meet Sam, a painter and decorator and father of two. Sam had spent most of his life dangerously overweight. Sadly after the death of his mother he made a promise to her that he would do something about his health. He made a promise on energy he couldn’t break. Sam’s mental health dramatically deteriorated and It was at that point Sam decided to take action on the promise he made, and reached out for help. During his consultation with one of our coaches Shane they put together a plan of action, aiming to slowly eliminate bad habits and introduce good ones, immediately.”

“I have always been overweight for as long as I can remember and although I went to the gym 3 to 4 times a week, I never really took it seriously or lost any weight. “Stuck in constant limbo, never knowing whether to build muscle or lose body fat. Frustrated, lacking structure and going nowhere fast, his motivation was at a low. 6–7 Years of banging his head against a wall and not seeing the results he wanted Ryan decided to take ACTION and reach out for help early 2023. After consulting with him, we established that adding muscle to his frame was his main goal. But in order to add a significant amount of muscle to his frame, we needed to bring his body fat down first, while holding on to as much tissue as possible. Shifting his thought process to a get lean mindset, Ryan had clarity and new-found motivation.”

Great gym with great trainers and a great atmosphere. It has all the facilities and equipment you need. Having trained at various gyms over the years body ethics is by far the stand out gym in the area. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to join or change gym.
I'm not a regular gym person - I tend to exercise outdoors - however I wanted a focused 3 month 1:1 strength programme. Paul was my 1:1 personal trainer, he was really knowledgeable and made a great programme for me. The range of equipment is amazing and I am so pleased with the results. Paul always made the sessions enjoyable. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I'll be back for another winter strength plan.
Paul has been my Jui Jitsu PT for several months now. He’s diligence and meticulous approach to teaching, combined with he’s knowledge/good nature/patience and clear instructions when explaining complex movements is second to none. I can’t recommend Paul highly enough. 5 stars!

Highly recommend Paul as a personal trainer. Great all round knowledge of nutrition, fitness and gym technique, with a down to earth and pragmatic approach. I'm a 48 year old guy and have always been relatively active, but engaged Paul's help when I discovered my visceral fat was very high. Following Paul's advice and plan 4 months later I've lost 8.5kg of fat and gained 2.5kg of muscle and smashed most of my targets. Thanks Paul 👍

Paul is as genuine as it comes, he will support you in whatever your goals are and give the best advise to achieve said goals. He is also a absolute wizard in bjj and good luck with a roll. He will be kind but brutal. If that puts you off it shouldn't, lean into it.

Premium quality gym. Plenty of equipment which is all clean and well maintained. Huge functional fitness area. The team are really friendly and gives off family vibes.
Paul is a lovely guy, very knowledgeable, encouraging and patient. His sessions are fun and very productive.
Paul is an encouraging and supportive coach with a wealth of knowledge. He gently coaxes a little more out of every session. I went to him after a full knee replacement and he has returned my knee to a strength I would not have expected at the begining of our sessions. He adapted the training sessions to suit my needs every session. My balance is 100% improved. I will be back in a few months after my second knee is replaced. Thank you Paul!
I’ve been with Body Ethics since May 2021and prior to 2020 the same gym but Peak Fitness as it was called then. Best gym in Hitchin by a million miles and I should know because I’ve tried them all. Professional staff, superb equipment, ultra clean facilities and above all else a very safe environment in which to exercise. Gyms are vital for mental health and general well being as well as the physical.
Great gym, the staff always greet you with a smile and can’t do enough for you and are always on hand if you need a bit of advice, weather it be with training or nutrition.

Parents have just moved to Hitchin and I visit them from Amsterdam. I needed a gym with all the right equipment and could easily park. Great gym with all the equipment you need (the Watson stuff is particularly cool) and the staff are really friendly too.4 min from my parents house, easily my gym of choice when I'm over.Pre workout / post session protein shakes are all fairly priced too and the place is incredibly clean.5 stats for everyone that works there. I’ve been training with Paul for 4 month - he’s a great guy and I can highly recommend him. I’m confident pushing hard in our workouts because of his strict emphasis on form and injury prevention. He’s tailored the workouts as I’ve learned which exercises I prefer, so maintaining motivation has been easy.
I’ve been training with Paul for several months and would definitely recommend him. He takes a holistic view to training and really listens as well as training during sessions, focussing on overall wellbeing.
